Meier Road Bridge #2580019 Replacement
Troy, MO
McClure provided comprehensive services for the replacement of Bridge #2580019, including surveying, permitting, geotechnical investigation, and both preliminary and final design. The project was funded through the Off-System Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program (BRO) to generate Soft-Match Credit upon completion.
The original single-span steel girder bridge with a concrete deck was replaced due to structural and roadway deficiencies. The final design featured a 33 x 118 steel girder superstructure with a concrete deck supported by integral concrete abutments. The new alignment and increased width were designed to better accommodate local and agricultural traffic.
